AnOther Photo Dump, a summer series inviting photographers from around the world to share images that capture their personal vision of the season.
“Days and nights seemed to slip into one another, and I began to sense everything with my eyes almost closed – people, interiors, landscapes, the sea, the heat. Those who crossed my path and I, we were more moods and feelings than anything else. The boundaries between us and the landscape, between inside and outside, slowly disappeared. The Island dissolved them. What remains is not a document of a place but fragments of a dream already a memory. An endless summer, deep in the present, yet already wrapped in nostalgia. Sicily became what I can only call uogo dell’anima (place of the soul). It was all I wanted” – Maria Clara Macrì
